About Pigs on Parade

In 2001, 200 artists and groups were selected to create fiberglass pig interpretations that were scattered throughout the Seattle downtown core and city. At the end of the summer all the six-foot-tall pigs were auctioned off with proceeds going to the Pike Place Market Foundation.

The organization is dedicated to preservation of the historic Pike Place Market. The Foundation also helps support programs for low-income seniors and families in the Pike Place Market neighborhood.
